This national honor is presented by the Association of Leaders in Volunteer Engagement (AL!VE) and recognizes individuals with 3 to 7 years of experience who are demonstrating innovation, impact, and leadership in the volunteer engagement field.
Laurel’s nomination is a powerful acknowledgment of the work she has done to celebrate and empower volunteers worldwide. Through her leadership, the Global Volunteer Recognition Program has grown into a vibrant platform that hosts monthly virtual volunteer projects, offers leadership certification programs, and creates accessible recognition opportunities for volunteers of all backgrounds.
The AL!VE Impact Awards are now in their seventh year and shine a spotlight on professionals who are transforming communities and raising the standard for what’s possible through strategic volunteer engagement. Laurel’s nomination reflects her commitment to inclusive service, remote volunteer opportunities, and leadership development that makes a difference.
Winners of the 2025 Impact Awards will receive a national spotlight, a formal award certificate, and professional development funds. Final announcements will be made on October 28 during the Hybrid Conference hosted by Better Impact, AL!VE, and VPMC.
