The Emerging Leader of the Year category honors women with 3–7 years of leadership experience who are demonstrating innovation, passion, and a strong commitment to their industry and community.

Laurel’s nomination reflects her unwavering dedication to empowering others, her innovative approach to volunteerism, and her growing influence across Colorado and beyond. With over 500 volunteer hours logged each year, Laurel is not only a leader in the pageant community but also a passionate advocate for creating meaningful change. Through her work with the Global Volunteer Recognition Program, she uplifts volunteers of all ages and backgrounds, helping them feel seen, celebrated, and supported.

As a respected healthcare project manager, college professor, award-winning volunteer, and mentor, Laurel continues to embody the values of empowerment, inspiration, and service. Her nomination is a well-deserved recognition of her ongoing efforts to make a difference.
