Kolina Law is a dedicated student at Monta Vista High School and the inspiring founder of Dreamkick World Mission, a youth-focused nonprofit dedicated to empowering children around the world through Taekwondo and education.
In 2025, Kolina committed more than 100 hours to mentoring youth through Taekwondo, a martial art that teaches discipline, respect, and perseverance. Her vision was simple yet powerful: to give young people the tools to succeed both on and off the mat.
Creating Opportunities Through Education and Sports
To make her mission a reality, Kolina organized a charity book fair that raised $2,648. The funds were used to purchase 100 new Taekwondo uniforms for underprivileged students in Guatemala, ensuring that children who wanted to learn had access to the proper resources.
Taking the Mission Global
Kolina did not stop at fundraising. She traveled to Guatemala to personally deliver the uniforms and lead Taekwondo workshops for more than 300 students. Through these sessions, she taught not only martial arts techniques but also the deeper values of Taekwondo: discipline, respect, and perseverance.
Her approach was rooted in listening and connecting with the students, which helped build trust and create lasting impact. For Kolina, this experience highlighted that true leadership is not about giving orders, but about showing up, listening, and serving others with compassion.
Inspiring the Next Generation
This journey strengthened Kolina’s commitment to serving youth globally through Taekwondo and education. As the founder of Dreamkick World Mission, she continues to inspire young leaders, proving that one student can spark meaningful change across borders.
