Dylan Nagra: Inspiring Leadership Through Sports & Service

Dylan Nagra

At just fifteen years old, Dylan Nagra has emerged as an inspiring example of what it means to combine athletic excellence, intellectual achievement, and a heart for service. As an author, environmental advocate, and high-level competitive soccer goalie, Dylan channels his passion for teamwork and community into creating meaningful global impact.

Athletic Excellence and Leadership on the Field

Dylan’s journey began on the soccer field, where his commitment to discipline and leadership quickly set him apart. As a standout goalkeeper for New England Futbol Club (NEFC)—competing in the Elite Club National League (ECNL-R)—he has earned numerous awards for both performance and sportsmanship.

His honors include the Pike Leadership Award (2024), Pike Coaches Award (2023), and multiple soccer championship trophies. Dylan has also earned nine gold winner medals with NEFC, along with several tennis titles showcasing his versatility as an athlete.

Dylan’s excellence extends to academics and the arts. He received the George Lenchner Award for achieving a perfect score in Math Olympiad, maintains consistent Honor Roll and High Honor Roll standings at The Pike School, and enjoys competing in chess tournaments. His combination of athletic skill, intellectual focus, and artistic creativity reflects a well-rounded pursuit of excellence.

Championing Inclusion Through Beyond Boundaries Soccer

Driven by empathy and a belief in equal opportunity, Dylan co-founded Beyond Boundaries Soccer, a nonprofit organization dedicated to making soccer accessible to individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.

Through adaptive coaching, the program provides free, inclusive soccer training that welcomes all athletes—whether they are wheelchair users, visually or hearing impaired, or living with autism or cerebral palsy. The organization partners with the Special Olympics and local community programs to promote inclusion, confidence, and teamwork.

As a coach and cofounder, Dylan helps lead sessions, develop adaptive drills, and mentor players. His dedication ensures that every participant experiences belonging and empowerment through sport.

Environmental Leadership and Global Advocacy

Beyond the soccer field, Dylan has become a recognized voice for environmental sustainability and climate action. He co-founded Green Teen Generation, a nonprofit organization that empowers youth to take real steps toward a more sustainable planet.

Under Dylan’s leadership, Green Teen Generation launched a nationwide plastic reduction campaign that reached schools across the country, encouraging recycling, waste reduction, and the elimination of single-use plastics. The group also spearheaded large-scale tree-planting initiatives that improved air quality and supported reforestation efforts throughout North America.

His outstanding environmental leadership has earned him several major honors, including the Titan Gold Sustainability Leader of the Year (2025), the Environmental Impact Award (2025), and the Sustainability Gold Medal (2024).

At the World Youth Sustainability Summit, Dylan delivered a presentation titled “The Crucial Role of Recycling and Waste Management: Strategies for Sustainability,” inspiring hundreds of young people to adopt eco-conscious habits and advocate for systemic environmental change.

Author, Speaker, and Advocate for Resilience

Dylan extends his influence through writing and public speaking. He is the coauthor of the internationally recognized and award-winning book Green Teens: Empowering Youth for a Sustainable Future, which highlights how young people around the world are driving innovation in climate action.

He is also the author of the upcoming book The Comeback Blueprint: Transforming Failures into Wins, which explores how setbacks can lead to growth and success. Dylan shares these lessons in his TEDx talk, “Failing to Fortune: Turning Setbacks into Success,” where he inspires audiences to embrace challenges as opportunities for transformation.

Commitment to Community Service and Volunteerism

Service remains at the heart of Dylan’s mission. He volunteers regularly with United Way of Acton, My Brother’s Table Soup Kitchen, and the Special Olympics, where he helps serve meals, support individuals with disabilities, and provide outreach to families in need.

His actions reflect the core values celebrated by the Global Volunteer Recognition Program—that leadership is defined not by age or title, but by compassion and a commitment to helping others.

A Legacy of Leadership and Compassion

Through his work in sports, sustainability, and service, Dylan Nagra continues to demonstrate that young people can lead with empathy, creativity, and resilience. His vision reminds us that small acts, when done with purpose, can spark meaningful change across the world.

Whether he’s guarding the goal, planting trees, mentoring athletes, or speaking on stage, Dylan leads by example—showing that true leadership begins with kindness, dedication, and action.
