🌍🤝 Ready to make a difference from anywhere? The Global Volunteer Recognition Program hosts monthly volunteer events that you can join from home, your community, or anywhere in the world. Each project is designed to make a real impact while connecting you with a global community of changemakers.
No membership is required to participate, but members enjoy added benefits like award nominations and official recognition for their service hours. Learn more about membership here.
What to Expect Each Month
We host a variety of remote volunteer opportunities every month, including:

Virtual donation drives – contribute to important causes online

Community clean-up challenges – help improve local spaces (30–60 minutes)

Card-making projects for children and seniors – spread joy from home

Mapping and data support for global aid organizations – assist medical and emergency efforts

Each project is flexible and can be completed on your own schedule. Whether you have 15 minutes or several hours, your time matters.

January 2026: Kindness & Encouragement Project
Theme: Start the Year with Service

Goal: Create and share positive messages to uplift individuals or groups who may need encouragement at the start of the year.
How to Complete the Project
Volunteers may complete one or more of the following activities.
Option 1: Encouragement Cards

Cards may be for teachers, healthcare workers, seniors, students, volunteers, or nonprofit staff

Cards can be emailed, shared on social media, or sent directly to an organization
Option 2: Encouragement Messages or Letters

Write encouraging emails or messages to someone who may need support

Messages can be sent to friends, family, coworkers, or community members

Messages should be positive, respectful, and inclusive
Option 3: Public Positivity Post

Share a positive message, quote, or story on social media

Include why kindness matters or how encouragement impacts communities

Tag or mention an organization if appropriate

February 2026: Awareness Advocate Campaign
Theme: Spread Awareness about an Important Social Issue

Goal: Choose a topic you care about and share educational content with your networks.
How to Complete:

Pick a cause (for example hunger relief, mental wellness, literacy).

Create shareable post or graphics with key takeaways.

Post on social media or send to friends and family with a short caption about why it matters. You can also create a presentation about your topic and share it with the community.

How to Complete:
