Partner Organizations and Programs We Participate In

At the Global Volunteer Recognition Program, our mission is to amplify volunteer impact and connect volunteers to trusted, credible programs. We are honored to partner with and participate in established organizations that share our values of integrity, recognition, and meaningful service. Below is an overview of our current partners and the programs we actively engage with.

1. BBB of Southern Colorado

The Better Business Bureau of Southern Colorado is a nonprofit organization that has served 25 counties in southern Colorado since 1980. Their mission is to foster marketplace trust by accrediting businesses and charities, educating consumers, resolving disputes, and promoting transparency. (BBB)

As a partner, Global Volunteer Recognition Program ensures that our nonprofit operations uphold standards of accountability and trust, aligning with BBB’s guiding principles.

BBB4Good is an initiative under the BBB umbrella focused on verifying purpose-driven businesses and nonprofits. To become BBB4Good Verified, an organization must show authentic social impact, transparency, and community engagement beyond standard BBB accreditation. (BBB)

By participating in BBB4Good, we underscore our commitment to ethical volunteer recognition, accountability, and aligning volunteering with values-based action.

3. AmeriCorps

AmeriCorps is a federal service program in the United States that engages adults in public service work to meet community needs in areas such as education, public safety, disaster relief, and more. Volunteers serving under AmeriCorps often gain skills, professional development, and educational awards.

Though not a direct “partner” in the sense of co-branding, we actively work with AmeriCorps programs to recognize volunteers who also serve under AmeriCorps placements. This synergy helps amplify visibility of volunteer hours and ensures that service is honored on multiple platforms.

4. President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA)

The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) is a national honor that recognizes individuals, families, and groups who have achieved a high level of volunteer service to their communities. It has been administered through AmeriCorps. (upchieve.org)

However, as of May 27, 2025, AmeriCorps has temporarily paused the PVSA program, affecting all certifying organizations. (upchieve.org)
We remain committed to reinstating recognition pathways for volunteers and are actively monitoring updates from AmeriCorps regarding the PVSA resumption.

5. CO150AM250

CO150AM250 is a program that originates in Colorado (statewide) focused on combining historical honor, volunteer mobilization, and civic engagement (often in relation to Colorado’s sesquicentennial and beyond).

Our participation in CO150am250 allows us to align Colorado’s volunteer heritage with modern recognition. It deepens local roots and helps us support volunteers in Colorado with relevance to statewide initiatives.

6. You Gotta Have Faith

You gotta have faith

You Gotta Have Faith is a nonprofit group focused on empowering women, promoting faith, and supporting underserved communities through volunteer engagement and mutual encouragement. (Facebook presence: “You Gotta Have Faith – Women Supporting Women”) (Facebook)

We partner with them to provide volunteer support, recognition, and amplify their outreach. By partnering closely, we validate and highlight grassroots organizations doing meaningful local work.

Why These Partnerships Matter

  • Trust & credibility: Partnering with established organizations (BBB, AmeriCorps) strengthens our integrity signals to users and search engines alike.

  • Recognition reach: Volunteers who serve under these programs may earn dual recognition (ours and theirs), increasing visibility and impact.

  • Shared values: Each organization emphasizes transparency, accountability, and meaningful service—values that align with our mission.

  • Local + national presence: Our mix of statewide (CO150AM250, BBB), national (AmeriCorps, PVSA), and community (You Gotta Have Faith) partners enables both wide reach and deep local connection.
