Celebrate volunteer service completed between January 1 and December 31, 2025, with an official 2025 Global Volunteer Recognition Program™ Annual Membership.
This past-year membership provides a meaningful way to document and celebrate volunteer service that may not have received formal recognition when it was originally completed. You may purchase the membership for yourself or honor a friend, family member, student, pageant titleholder, community leader, nonprofit volunteer, remote volunteer, or another deserving person.
The Global Volunteer Recognition Program is not a competition. Our mission is to celebrate the contributions of all volunteers to create a better world.
Important availability notice: The 2025 Annual Membership is available only while the original custom 2025 member medals remain in stock. Once the remaining medals are sold, this membership will be retired.
What Is a 2025 GVRP Membership?
The 2025 Annual Membership is a past recognition-year membership created specifically for volunteers who completed service during the 2025 calendar year.
This purchase recognizes 2025 service. It does not replace a current-year membership and does not provide membership for 2026 or another calendar year.
Your membership year must match the year in which the service was completed:

The certificate and medal recognize participation in the 2025 GVRP membership year. Hours-based awards require a separate review of documented volunteer service.
Can 2025 Service Qualify for a Global Volunteer Award?
Yes. Members may submit eligible volunteer service completed between January 1 and December 31, 2025, for review through the Global Volunteer Awards™.
Depending on the member’s age group and number of eligible documented hours, qualifying members may earn:

Qualifying members may receive a personalized digital Global Volunteer Award certificate and placement on the official Global Volunteer Awards Honor Roll.

Membership does not automatically guarantee a Global Volunteer Award. The member must submit qualifying service information and meet the applicable award requirements.
Are Physical Global Volunteer Award Items Included?
No. The custom 2025 membership medal and personalized membership certificate are included with this product.
Global Volunteer Award medals, pins, printed award certificates, and physical award bundles are separate optional purchases available only after the applicable award requirements have been met.
The annual membership medal recognizes participation in GVRP. A Global Volunteer Award recognizes an eligible service-hour achievement. They are separate forms of recognition.

Is Student Recognition Included?
The Global Student Citizenship & Service Award is not automatically included with the 2025 Annual Membership.
The Global Student Citizenship & Service Award is a separate, criteria-based student recognition program. GVRP membership is not required to nominate a student.
Students who completed documented volunteer hours during 2025 may purchase a 2025 membership and submit eligible hours for Global Volunteer Awards review.

There is no competition between members. GVRP recognizes that volunteer service may look different depending on a person’s age, schedule, abilities, location, resources, and chosen causes.
Can I Purchase This Membership for Someone Else?
Yes. You may purchase the 2025 Annual Membership as a recognition gift for a friend, family member, student, volunteer, employee, pageant titleholder, or community leader who completed service during 2025.
Make sure the recipient’s correct name is provided for the personalized certificate. Contact GVRP after placing the order if the recipient’s information is different from the purchaser’s information.
Do I Need Documentation of My 2025 Volunteer Service?
You may purchase the membership to celebrate participation in the 2025 recognition year. However, documentation is required when submitting hours for an eligibility-based Global Volunteer Award or another hours-based recognition program.

What Happens After I Join?
1. You Receive an Order Confirmation
You will receive confirmation that your 2025 membership order was placed. Review the order information carefully and contact GVRP if the name, mailing address, or recipient information needs to be corrected.
The member’s name will be printed on the personalized certificate using the information provided with the order.
2. GVRP Prepares the Membership Materials
GVRP will prepare the personalized welcome letter, official 2025 membership certificate, and original custom 2025 member medal.
Because the certificate is personalized and the medal comes from limited remaining inventory, this product is prepared as a special past-year membership order.
3. You Organize Your 2025 Service Records
Gather information about eligible service completed between January 1 and December 31, 2025.
Your membership purchase does not automatically submit volunteer hours or supporting documentation.
4. You Submit Eligible Hours for Review
Members seeking a Global Volunteer Award must complete the applicable service-hour submission process.
The service year, membership year, volunteer-hour records, and submission information must match.
Hours will not be considered submitted simply because a membership was purchased or because records were emailed separately.
5. GVRP Reviews the Submission
GVRP reviews the submitted information to determine whether the volunteer service meets the applicable Global Volunteer Awards requirements.
Additional information, clarification, or documentation may be requested when needed.
6. Qualifying Members Receive Recognition
Members whose documented 2025 service meets the applicable requirements may receive a digital Global Volunteer Award certificate and placement on the official Honor Roll.
Optional physical Global Volunteer Award products may be purchased separately after eligibility is confirmed.
Can I Be Included in the 2025 Member Archive?
You may submit a short biography, headshot, and information about your 2025 volunteer service for possible inclusion in the historical 2025 GVRP member collection.
The 2025 GVRP Members collection highlights volunteers who participated in the 2025 recognition year and celebrates their service, leadership, causes, and community impact.
Submitting information does not guarantee publication. Member features depend on:

Public recognition is optional. Members are not required to submit a biography, photograph, or public service story.

Is Gala Admission Included?
No. Membership may connect members with information about current GVRP recognition events, but gala tickets, travel, lodging, trophies, sponsorships, and other event-related purchases are sold separately.
Purchasing a 2025 membership does not include admission to a past or future gala.

Are Current Volunteer Projects Included?
The 2025 membership recognizes participation in the 2025 recognition year. It does not provide retroactive access to every activity, event, nomination opportunity, discount, or project that was available during 2025.
Past-year members may explore current volunteer events and remote service opportunities, but current programs may have separate requirements, registration processes, fees, or deadlines.
Is This Membership Automatically Renewed?
No. The 2025 Annual Membership should be offered as a one-time purchase only.
It recognizes volunteer service completed during the 2025 calendar year and should not automatically renew into another membership year.
Volunteers who completed service during a different year must select the membership that corresponds with that service year.
Important Past-Year Membership Policies
This is a one-time past recognition-year membership. It does not automatically provide membership for the current year or renew into a future recognition year.

Annual membership dues are generally nonrefundable once personalized materials, membership administration, program access, or other membership benefits have been provided.
