Savanna Seeling

Savanna Seeling, a graduating senior from Okemos High School in Michigan, is a dual U.S.-German citizen and a dedicated volunteer. She has earned numerous academic and community service awards, including recognition from the National German Exam, the College Board, and the Kiwanis Club. Active in the National Honor Society, she has participated in food and blood drives, led a donation drive for the Fretail Store, and written letters to seniors through Love For Our Elders.

Her passion for public service was sparked by volunteering at the Republican National Convention, leading her to pursue Public Policy and Political Theory at Michigan State University. Inspired by her experiences with an elderly neighbor and educational disparities, she champions literacy and intergenerational connections through initiatives like Letters Against Isolation and a district-wide book drive.

With over 200 volunteer hours, Savanna will receive the National Community Service Ambassador Award, the Michigan Community Impact Award, and the Michigan Governor Youth Spirit of Hope Service Award. She plans to continue her advocacy and service in college, viewing this as just the beginning of her lifelong commitment to making a difference.
