Roland Ivy

I am a highly ambitious second-year college student with an unbreakable determination to serve my community as much as possible. I am very passionate about volunteering, sudoku, and volleyball. I am majoring in Criminal Justice Studies and minoring in Slavic Studies. Volunteering is an important part of my life, as it has helped me with my personal growth, learn new skills
and network with some amazing people. I believe that volunteering can be valuable if you let it be! It is something that I not only deeply enjoy, but it is something that I strive to challenge myself in.

During my junior and senior years in high school, I contributed over two hundred hours of community service, and was honored with many volunteer awards. I've also donated numerous units of blood and platelets to the American Red Cross. Currently, I am an avid volunteer at the Miami Valley Hospital gift shop and Dayton Metro Library. I volunteer at least fifteen hours a
week while juggling college classes and other leadership obligations. I aspire to serve my country by becoming a special agent of the Secret Service.
