At just fourteen years old, Aric Nagra is already making strides across multiple domains: competitive athletics, environmental advocacy, community service, and public speaking. His story shows how passion, empathy, and commitment can intersect to make a real difference.
Early Athletic Roots & Soccer Success
Aric’s love for sports started when he was three. Over time, he sharpened his talents and became a standout in competitive soccer. He plays as a striker for New England Futbol Club (NEFC), among the region’s elite youth soccer programs. On his journey, Aric has earned six gold medals and two silver medals in championship play. In middle school at The Pike School, he was named Most Valuable Player (MVP) in both 7th and 8th grade. In 2024, he also received the Kerri Katter Award, which honors athletes who embody excellence, integrity, and teamwork. During one season, he scored 26 goals and provided 18 assists—one of the best records in school history.
Aric is not limited to soccer. He also competes in basketball and tennis. On the basketball court, he was awarded Defensive Player of the Year for The Pike School’s varsity team in 2023–2024. In tennis, he has captured seven gold tournament trophies in competitive singles play. His multi-sport approach reinforces traits such as adaptability, focus, and balance.
Beyond Sports: Leading Through Inclusion
Aric’s leadership shines beyond personal performance. Alongside his brothers, he cofounded Beyond Boundaries Soccer, a nonprofit designed to make soccer accessible to everyone—no matter their physical, intellectual, or learning ability.
Through collaborations with the Special Olympics and local recreation programs, Beyond Boundaries offers free, inclusive soccer coaching tailored to participants who may face barriers in typical sports environments. Whether someone is visually or hearing impaired, uses a wheelchair, has cerebral palsy, is on the autism spectrum, or has other disabilities, the organization adapts training methods to create an environment of belonging.
As CEO and cofounder, Aric plays an active role: he coaches sessions, designs drills, mentors players, and ensures every athlete feels valued and included. The program helps improve physical fitness, boosts confidence, fosters friendship, and creates pathways to independence.
Aric’s guiding philosophy is simple: sports should unite, not divide. Today, Beyond Boundaries Soccer is a model for inclusive athletics and a testament to how young visionaries can reshape community culture.
Environmental Advocacy & Youth Empowerment
Aric’s compassion extends beyond sports into sustainability. He co-launched a national plastic reduction campaign targeting schools to adopt eco-friendly practices and reduce waste. His goal: inspire youth to take tangible steps toward protecting the planet.
He has spoken at the World Youth Sustainability Summit, delivering insights on “Strategies for Reducing Plastic Consumption in Educational and Domestic Environments.” As a young voice in environmental leadership, Aric encourages other teens to believe their contributions matter.
Aric is coauthor of Green Teens: Empowering Youth for a Sustainable Future, an award-winning book that educates and motivates readers to embrace climate action. He is also working on a forthcoming book, Resilience in Sports, which will explore how lessons from athletics translate into overcoming life’s challenges.
Service, Academics & Public Speaking
Service is central to how Aric lives his life. He volunteers with the Special Olympics, United Way of Acton, and My Brother’s Table Soup Kitchen, where he serves meals and supports community outreach initiatives. His volunteerism underscores his belief that leadership is measured by positive impact, not accolades.
Academically, Aric has earned two Gold Ribbons in Math Olympiad competitions, and he received an Honorable Mention in the National French Exam. His diverse interests include languages, logic, and analytics.
He is also a TEDx speaker, delivering a talk titled “The Psychology and Benefit of Sports”. In it, he connects athletic participation to mental health, resilience, and personal growth—demonstrating a maturity and insight beyond his years.

Aric Nagra embodies the future of youth leadership. Whether on the field or behind the microphone, he shows how passion, purpose, and empathy can intersect to drive real change. His journey reminds us that even young voices can reshape norms—in sports, in communities, and for the planet.
