The Global Volunteer Recognition Program believes that service deserves to be documented, appreciated, and celebrated. Whether someone has completed hundreds of verified volunteer hours, demonstrated outstanding student citizenship, led a community initiative, or consistently supported others, meaningful recognition can encourage continued service and create a lasting record of achievement. Recognition opportunities within this collection may include:

The Global Volunteer Awards™ recognize qualifying GVRP members for verified volunteer hours completed during the calendar year. Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum recognition levels are available based on the volunteer’s age and qualifying service hours. The Global Student Citizenship & Service Award recognizes students who demonstrate kindness, responsibility, citizenship, leadership, service, and a commitment to improving their school or community. GVRP membership is not required for this student award. Additional service-based recognition opportunities are available through the Volunteer Awards and Recognition page. ## Who Can Receive a GVRP Award? Eligibility varies by award. Some recognition packages are reserved for members who have submitted qualifying volunteer hours, while other awards are available to students, families, educators, schools, homeschool programs, nonprofit organizations, youth leaders, pageant organizations, and community groups.
