As of June 2026, GVRP reported 287 active members, 68,426 documented volunteer hours, and relationships with nine partner and participating organizations. Members served through local, remote, national, and global opportunities.

What Kind of Service Is Included?
GVRP members choose causes that matter to them. Their service may be completed in person or remotely through nonprofits, schools, community groups, public programs, faith communities, independent initiatives, and other eligible service settings.
Food Access and Essential Needs
Members have supported food banks, donation drives, meal programs, care packages, and other efforts that help individuals and families access essential resources.
Youth, Education, and Mentoring
Volunteer service has included mentoring young people, supporting schools, sharing skills, encouraging students, and helping community members learn and grow.
Environmental Service
Members have cleaned parks and neighborhoods, supported environmental awareness, participated in conservation activities, and cared for shared community spaces.
Remote and Digital Volunteering
Service has included humanitarian mapping, virtual advocacy, online research, digital support, awareness campaigns, and other flexible projects completed from home.
Community Care and Kindness
Members have created cards, encouraged patients and older adults, supported veterans, completed acts of kindness, and responded to needs in their own communities.

Members have helped with seasonal initiatives, including answering NORAD Tracks Santa calls, organizing community events, and supporting special service campaigns.

Growth from March 2024 to June 2026: GVRP grew from 32 to 287 active members, nearly nine times the starting total. Documented volunteer hours grew from 10,044 to 68,426, more than 6.8 times the starting total.

Volunteer-Hour Records
The cumulative hour total reflects service documented in GVRP program records and reviewed through the applicable membership or recognition process. Members may be asked to provide activity details, organization information, supervisor or verifier information, photographs, confirmations, or other supporting documentation, depending on the program and type of service.
Logging an activity does not automatically make it eligible for every award. Each recognition opportunity may have its own service dates, documentation standards, age categories, hour thresholds, and eligibility rules.
Membership and Partnership Records
The member total reflects active member records available at the listed reporting date. The partner total reflects organizations and programs included in GVRP's partnership and participation records at that time.
Partnerships may include collaboration, program participation, education, volunteer support, recognition activities, or aligned community initiatives. They do not all represent the same type of legal or financial relationship.
