Accounts for Teens and Families
-
Adults age 18 or older: Create your own account and complete the required notices.
-
Teens ages 13–17: Register with your own email and a different parent or guardian email. Your parent or guardian receives an approval request. After approval, you receive a separate email to choose your password and finish setup.
-
Children under 13: A parent or legal guardian age 18 or older must create and operate the account using their own name, email, and login. Select “I am a parent recording my child's hours.” The parent enters the records; the child does not sign in or use the account.
These account requirements apply to both Free and Premium access. Purchasing Premium does not replace the required approval or setup steps.
Read about accounts for young volunteers or review the parent account agreement.
Membership and Award Eligibility
Free and Premium app access are separate from annual Global Volunteer Recognition Program membership. Creating an account or purchasing Premium does not enroll you as a member or include physical awards.
Recording hours or earning digital app badges does not automatically verify your service, submit an award application, or guarantee eligibility for recognition. Follow the documentation and submission requirements of the school, organization, or recognition program reviewing your hours.
Keep Your Service Records Thoughtful
Describe your own contributions and avoid entering confidential information about people you serve. Photos, supervisor signatures, and GPS check-in are optional Premium features, not requirements for keeping a journal.
Retain any supporting documentation required by your volunteer organization.
Review our Privacy Notice and Terms of Use.
Access and Ongoing Improvements
An internet connection is required. The app is actively being improved, and features and layouts may change as development continues.
Spend more time making a difference and less time piecing together your volunteer history.
