The GVRP Annual Volunteer Award Ceremony is a formal recognition event that celebrates volunteer service, leadership, advocacy, storytelling, and community impact.
The 2027 ceremony is designed to bring volunteers and supporters together for member recognition, award presentations, Community Champion Spotlight celebrations, Global Volunteer Voices recognition, networking, and formal photo opportunities.
Additional retreat activities are being considered as event planning continues. Final retreat details will be announced only after the schedule and venue are confirmed.

2026 and 2027 GVRP Members
Active 2026 and 2027 members participating in the ceremony receive a personalized trophy based on service, leadership, advocacy, or community impact.
No service-hour threshold is required for the personalized member trophy. Membership and event participation requirements still apply.

Pre-Sale Confidence Policy
If you purchase admission and cannot attend after the official date and location are announced, your admission may be converted to the Can’t Attend Member Recognition Package if you are an eligible active member. The price difference will be returned to the original payment method.
Some admissions may also be transferred to another person. Conversion or transfer requests must be submitted by the deadline included in the official event announcement. Review the current ticket page before purchasing for complete terms.

When and where will the 2027 GVRP Volunteer Award Ceremony take place?
The ceremony is tentatively planned for September 2027 in the Denver, Colorado area. The exact date and venue are still being finalized.
Is the September 2027 event date confirmed?
No. September 2027 is the current planning target, but GVRP has not announced the final date. Wait for the official announcement before booking nonrefundable travel or lodging.
Who can attend the volunteer award ceremony?
Everyone is welcome. Attendees may include GVRP members, volunteers, nominees, Global Volunteer Voices participants, family members, friends, nonprofit and community leaders, pageant titleholders, students, educators, sponsors, and anyone who values service.
Do I need to be a GVRP member to purchase a ticket?
No. Members and nonmembers may purchase admission at the same price. Personalized member trophies are reserved for eligible active 2026 and 2027 members participating through an applicable event option.
How much is a pre-sale ticket?
A single-admission pre-sale ticket is currently $125. Group options for two, three, or four people are also available. Select the desired group size on the ticket page to view current pricing.
What does an admission ticket include?
Admission currently includes the formal ceremony, volunteer and member recognition presentations, Community Champion Spotlight celebration, Global Volunteer Voices recognition, networking, formal photo opportunities, and other activities announced as planning continues.
Who receives a personalized member trophy?
Active 2026 and 2027 GVRP members participating through an applicable attendance or can’t-attend option receive a personalized trophy based on service, leadership, advocacy, or community impact. A nonmember guest does not receive a member trophy unless recognized through another published category.
Does the personalized member trophy require a minimum number of volunteer hours?
No. The personalized event trophy for participating active 2026 and 2027 members does not require a service-hour threshold. It is separate from the hours-based Global Volunteer Awards program.
What is the difference between a member trophy and a Global Volunteer Award?
The personalized member trophy recognizes an active member’s service, leadership, advocacy, or community impact without a minimum service-hour threshold. A Global Volunteer Award recognizes qualifying documented volunteer hours and is subject to current membership, documentation, eligibility, and deadline requirements.
What happens if I buy admission and cannot attend after the date is announced?
An eligible active member may request conversion to the Can’t Attend Member Recognition Package, with the price difference returned to the original payment method. Some tickets may also be transferable. Requests must be submitted by the deadline in the official event announcement.
What is included in the Can’t Attend Member Recognition Package?

Will Global Volunteer Voices participants be recognized?

Will Global Student Citizenship & Service Award recipients be recognized?
Eligible student award recipients may be celebrated through applicable 2027 ceremony programming. Final student recognition details, participation requirements, and deadlines will be published as the event program is confirmed.
Is a separate retreat schedule confirmed?
No. Additional retreat programming is being considered, but the schedule, activities, eligibility, and any separate costs have not been confirmed. Only rely on retreat details published in the final event announcement and ticket terms.
